ProTile™ Systems are manufactured to the highest quality and meet or exceed industry standards and have been independently tested in the USA.
At the heart of every ProTile™ Shower Base, Building Panel and Accessory is a rigid, closed cell, CFC and HCFC free, extruded polystyrene foam core that is impervious to water. The foam core is reinforced on both sides with a heavy duty, fiberglass mesh and coated with a polymer-modified, wick-resistant, high-strength, cementitious mortar. ProTile™ building materials then receive an exclusive honeycomb finish to deliver a superior mechanical bond, while creating an ideal tileable substrate.
